AMERICAN ALSATIANS IN THE SWIMMING POOL
This is also a short video that i took on the same day as the other swimming pool video. It may be the same? shoot i dont know. kind of bore ing... if you ask me, but at least some of you will get to see the dogs and pups as they DONT bark and to view how they are in character. Please remember that we do outcross and that the first generations are not really American Alsatians but outcrosses. One of the parents of the outcross is a pure bred American Alsatian but the other is a hand picked mutt or pure bred of a different breed with qualities that resemble our dogs. Finding outcross dogs to breed with is a long and time consuming process. It takes me about five to ten years to find the dog to breed into our lines. What happens next is that we keep the pick of the litter of the first generation and sell the others. These pups are called F-1's. They are NOT American Alsatians but outcross Alsatians. They are guarenteed in health and prespective owners are educated further and all questions answered before these pups are sold. Hundreds of homeowners want a mixed breed and are looking for a specific mix. I do not have enough pups for everyone and it is not my intention to sell mixed breeds. Not my goal in life. My goal is to keep this breed healthy for the public who buys these dogs and to breed better than the last as well as to keep breeding with the breed standards. The purebred American Alsatian does not bark much and does not have drive or instincts to herd, bite, chase or dig, run, jump etc... This is a laid back dog who pays attention to the owner and who is a faithful companion dog. Our dogs do not like to be left alone. They want to be with the owners at all times. This is what they live for. They are social and many are used as special needs, therephy and service dogs. The M litter are F-1's . The N and L litter's are F-2's. I am keeping a few females to bred back into our lines and we will have F-3's by fall. www.schwarzkennels.com
